Job Description We are seeking a specialist in general medicine for our physician clinic who values stimulating and independent work in a developing environment. The position includes customary clinic work within the primary care assignment, such as physician clinic, child health care, and consultation with home health care and special housing facilities. To some extent, the scope and distribution of these assignments can be shaped based on your individual interests. You will participate in on-call operations, both shared primary care on-call at the on-call center and on-call rotation line. Part of your working time will be spent supervising less experienced colleagues such as AT/ST-physicians and medical students. This occurs at specifically scheduled time in your schedule. Work Group We are approximately 70 employees at the health center who enjoy working together in an open work climate. We have good cooperation with our neighboring care centers, both within Region Östergötland and within the municipality. We maintain a development-inspired approach and conduct broad primary care operations. The physician clinic currently consists of specialists in general medicine, ST-physicians, and junior physicians in training. At the health centers, there are physician clinics, nurse clinics, specialist nurse clinics, nurse assistant clinics, child health care, psychosocial expertise, foot care, elderly care clinic, and laboratory. You can find more information about what it's like to work with us here. About You You are a specialist in general medicine and have previous experience working in primary care. You hold Swedish physician credentials (enclosed with application) and Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish C1 level. Since you work in constant dialogue with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other services, it is a requirement that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language both spoken and written. You have a valid driver's license (B). As a person, you are confident, have good collaboration skills with others on the team, are efficient, and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. You have good judgment and enjoy teamwork. You are unpretentious and communicate clearly. We value that you can meet different people based on their needs.
