Your Assignment Svartbäckens Primary Care Center has multiple responsibilities, including two branch offices. At the branch office in Bälinge, we are now looking for a colleague during the time our regular district physician is on parental leave. You will work together with a district physician colleague in a close-knit team with district nurses and nursing assistants. In addition to regular clinic work, the position includes child health center (BVC) responsibilities. Together with your colleagues at Svartbäcken, you will collaborate and meet several times a week. The temporary position covers all of 2027, starting in January and running through the end of January 2028. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a specialist in general medicine, holds Swedish medical licensure, and has good ability to communicate in Swedish both verbally and in writing. You enjoy working close to patients in a team with other professions and have experience with, or a clear interest in, person-centered care. Good interpersonal skills with both patients and colleagues are a given. Experience with, or interest in, child health center services is a plus. Our Operations Svartbäckens Primary Care Center is part of the Close-to-Home Care and Health Administration within Region Uppsala and is one of the county's largest primary care centers, with just over 18,800 registered patients. Of these, approximately 3,200 are registered at the Bälinge branch office. Svartbäcken is centrally located in Uppsala and has about 80 employees, including 23 physician colleagues. In addition to doctors, you will find all professional disciplines represented at the primary care center. The Bälinge branch office, where you will spend most of your working time, is located approximately 20 minutes north of Uppsala—you can get there by car, bus, or why not by bike. Want to Know More?
