About the Operations We're seeking a district physician for Ludvika Health Center! We offer a welcoming workplace with engaged and positive colleagues. Ludvika Municipality is located in Västerbergsslagen in southern Dalarna, next to Lake Väsman. The area offers beautiful natural landscapes, scenic lakes for summer swimming or winter ice skating, and good connections to major cities. Ludvika Health Center serves just over 15,000 registered patients and is one of two regional health centers in Ludvika Municipality. The health center has a large team of approximately 70 employees from various professions: General practitioners, ST physicians, AT physicians, BT physicians, assistant physicians, district nurses, nurses, specialist nurses, nursing assistants, counselors, psychologist, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation coordinator, care coordinators, and physician secretaries. The health center is located at Ludvika Hospital, which is not an acute care hospital; the nearest emergency department is in Falun. The hospital has a nearby acute care unit (Närakut). Responsibilities As a district physician at Ludvika Health Center, you'll work with both scheduled and acute patient visits. You'll meet people of all ages, meaning you'll independently receive, assess, and treat a broad spectrum of patients with varying diagnoses. You'll also mentor trainee physicians. There's an opportunity to work at the child health center (BVC). Work takes place at the health center and, in some cases, in patients' homes. Qualifications Requirements: Specialist physician in general medicine with valid physician license and specialist certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare Good Swedish language skills, spoken and written Personal Qualities: You're attentive and have excellent interpersonal skills.
