About the Facility Become one of us! Smedjebacken Health Center serves approximately 7,100 registered patients. The role is broad and defined in agreement with the Care Selection Unit. The health center is staffed by many different professional categories with extensive expertise. Collaboration and utilization of each other's knowledge is an important part of the work at Smedjebacken Health Center. We have specialist nurse clinics for, among others, diabetes, blood pressure, asthma/COPD, anticoagulation therapy, and dementia. Additionally, we have a coordinating nurse for mental health and a consultation clinic with therapists. We have child health center services with both child health nurses and child health psychologists. Primary care rehabilitation (physiotherapists and occupational therapist), midwifery clinic, youth clinic, and consultation services for children and young people. We are a work team with good atmosphere and excellent collaboration between the different professions. We have a strong focus on structured development work to provide our patients with the best healthcare while creating a good work environment. As a specialist physician in general medicine at our health center, you will encounter an exciting variety of patients and tasks. Job Responsibilities As a district physician with us, you will work with both acute and scheduled patient consultations with broad general practice as the foundation. The work is varied and independent where you will meet patients of all ages. You collaborate with other professionals who contribute their expertise. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a specialist physician in general medicine has good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing (Swedish C) You are a competent physician with a structured work approach and the ability to work both independently and in multiprofessional teams. We prefer someone who is confident, flexible, and contributes to a positive atmosphere. You have good communication with colleagues and patients. You have an interest in mentoring future colleagues and want to contribute to developing the facility. Application This position requires that you have valid licensure for the relevant profession.
