Approximately 50 employees work here with a range of professions. We are an experienced staff group with district nurses and registered nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, psychologist, psychologist-in-training, healthcare administrators, and foot therapists. We are located in fine facilities in what was previously Kristinehamn Hospital. In the same building there is also a laboratory, X-ray, outpatient rehabilitation with physiotherapists and occupational therapists, a near-care ward, pharmacy, pediatrics, and public dental care – which creates good conditions for collaboration. The health center is a well-functioning workplace with strong community spirit. We work closely together and value both quality and accessibility. The work environment is a prioritized area, and you work in close collaboration with competent colleagues from several different professions. Your Tasks The work tasks consist of, among other things, telephone advice, clinic work with your own patients/own clinic. It also includes medication management and prescription of certain medications and medical aids and involves great personal responsibility and the ability to work independently and as part of a team with others. Your Knowledge and Competencies We are looking for someone who is trained as a district nurse or a licensed registered nurse with a few years of experience in the profession. We work with mentorship. You need to have a genuine interest in people and always keep the patient in focus. You are positive, flexible, and stable with a good ability to build relationships. You take initiative when needed and can work independently but also as part of a team. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. It is meritorious if you have experience working at a health center, clinic, or with telephone advice, and if you have further education within diabetes, asthma/COPD, and dementia.
