About the Role You will be one of our 12 district managers where you get a fun, challenging, and varied overall responsibility for 10 stores, stretching from Umeå to Kiruna with Luleå as your base. Your stores, your car, and your home will be your workplace. The assignment is to create sales growth and strengthen store profitability. In your role, you inspire, motivate, and develop the store managers in your district. The goal is to increase efficiency and sales together with the store managers in line with DollarStore's routines and guidelines. Who Are You? The role of district manager involves intense and varied workdays. We are looking for you as a structured person, with an optimistic mindset and someone who thrives in an environment where things move fast. Managing remotely is not unfamiliar to you and being on the road is a prerequisite for succeeding in the role of district manager. You need to enjoy working independently but you are never alone as you have a coach and your fellow district managers to bounce ideas off. The district manager reports directly to the sales manager. Your Main Responsibilities Ensure store budgets and that they are adhered to. Actively support and advise in the district with the goal of driving sales Ensure a good work environment for all employees. Participate actively in assortment matters and be involved in goods procurement on behalf of the stores. Ensure that the stores meet the requirements for stock levels and standards according to the chain's concept. Responsible for recruiting store managers, maintaining and providing store managers with the right competence and tools. Conduct negotiations together with trade organizations with support from the HR department. We Are Looking for Someone Who Has at least 5 years of experience as a leader within retail. Is accustomed to actively working toward set sales targets. Has experience leading and developing sales organizations. Has a good understanding of key performance indicators, is experienced in analyzing and following up on results. Is business-driven and results-oriented. Is pedagogical and maintains composure in stressful situations. Dares to take initiative and has the ability to innovate. Experience with the retail agreement and basic labor law is meritorious.
