Jakobsberg University Health Center is part of SLSO, Stockholm County Healthcare Region. We are located at Jakobsberg Hospital, within walking distance from Jakobsberg city center and only 18 minutes by commuter train from Stockholm city.
We are a pleasant workplace with approximately 50 employed staff members in various professions. We have approximately 13,400 registered patients and are one of the region's larger health centers.

As a university health center, we have responsibility for training healthcare personnel in certain knowledge areas. At Jakobsberg University Health Center, we are responsible for knowledge areas including Cancer in Primary Care (CaPrim), Neurological Diseases, Pain, and Elderly Health. We participate in various research studies based in primary care. Several of our staff members hold PhDs and some conduct research part-time alongside their clinical work.

Duties:
At the clinic, the work involves common tasks for a district nurse/nurse at a health center such as telephone advice, chat, and patient reception.
The work requires independence, broad competence, and initiative to work autonomously.

Qualifications:
You are a licensed district nurse or nurse with several years of experience in primary care. You are flexible in your approach. You have good computer skills and experience with the TakeCare medical record system and other digital systems.
Employment Terms:
Permanent employment. Full-time 100%. A probationary period may apply. Working hours Monday-Friday, no weekend/holiday work. Start date October 1 or by agreement.

- background checks are conducted before employment decision in accordance with SLSO's general guidelines for background checks upon employment.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo initial medical examination, according to applicable directives, which occurs through occupational health before employment.
- in addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language is required corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). The same requirement is applicable guidance for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
