We are now recruiting a distribution electrician for our power grid operations. About the Position As a distribution electrician at Hedemora Energi, you will have a varied and responsible role where you work with operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, fault correction, and new construction of our power grid. The work includes both cable networks and overhead lines 0.4-20 kV within our distribution area. You plan, execute, and follow up on field work. You work both independently and together with colleagues in the power grid and in close cooperation with excavation and earthwork. Cable laying, pole work, and other field-related tasks are a natural part of your daily routine. Documentation and reporting of completed work and work progress according to company procedures are important aspects of the position. You also communicate with customers and other stakeholders regarding your work. Your Day-to-Day The work takes place largely outdoors in varying environments and weather conditions. It is conducted with a strong focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and service. You work according to current ESA guidelines and established instructions and contribute to safe and reliable power delivery for our customers. The position includes on-call duty as part of Hedemora Energi's emergency response system. During on-call periods, you participate in fault correction and, with the required qualifications, have switching responsibility as a switching operator according to ESA standards within the 0.4-20 kV distribution network. You should also be able to serve as an electrical safety officer. Risk assessments and risk observations are a natural part of your working day. Safety for both personnel and customers always has the highest priority and takes precedence over time and profitability. What We're Looking For · You have the required electrical technical education · You have experience with power grid work or other relevant electrical power activities · You hold a valid B driver's license · You have strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing · You have good understanding of electrical safety and safe work practices · You thrive in an independent role and take responsibility for driving your tasks forward · You can lead and take responsibility for field work within the scope of your role and competence · You work well with colleagues and contribute to good teamwork · You are responsible, solution-oriented, and well-organized · You have good communication skills and provide customers with professional and friendly service It is a Merit if You Have · Experience working in 0.4-20 kV distribution networks · Current ESA certifications · Experience with on-call duty, switching operations, or work as an electrical safety officer · Experience with cable networks, overhead lines, and pole work · A BE driver's license What We Offer At Hedemora Energi, you will work with critical infrastructure in a broad role with significant responsibility.
