Who We're Looking For We're seeking a driven video editor for short-form content who doesn't just work for us, but grows with us. We're a DTC e-commerce company where 80% of our revenue comes from short-form content on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, making this role incredibly important. That's why we're looking for someone who doesn't just want a remote job to earn a decent monthly salary—we want someone who wants to grow with the company and receive proportionally increased compensation. We've set the starting salary at 25,000kr/month, but if you're driven and a quick learner, it can increase rapidly. This role requires someone with real experience in short-form content production. We're not interested in someone who just cuts nicely; we need someone who excels at what actually matters: creating hooks that stop the right audience from scrolling, maintaining retention, and converting viewers. We only seek people with prior experience creating short-form content for brands for advertising purposes. In your application, include previous work samples and statistics for the videos you submit. You must understand hooks, pacing, structure, sound, and visual retention triggers. You also need to be able to adjust your work based on feedback. Who We Are We're a Swedish company operating an international e-commerce store in the book industry. The videos you edit will always be in Swedish, then translated by our team into other markets. Our team is driven and works at a fast pace. Accountability is highly valued, and we welcome someone willing to learn and grow with the company. Your Role You'll receive ad concepts from our Creative Director that you'll assemble from scratch. Your main task is ensuring the ad concept is executed properly. Different ads target different audiences—it's your job to ensure the hook and CTA target the right audience and the video maintains high retention throughout. The Creative Director sends scripts and guidelines for how the ad should be formatted. You work selecting appropriate clips to match the voiceover, generate voiceovers using ElevenLabs or record your own voice, then edit in voiceovers, music, captions, appropriate effects, etc. We'll discuss these processes in greater detail during the recruitment meeting. You'll also: Provide your own feedback on scripts/briefs and make adjustments you believe will yield better results Go through feedback loops that help you understand what drives your target audience to purchase from each ad—Why did more people stop on Ad A than Ad B? What made them watch to the end? Why did they click the link and why did they buy? Onboarding We'll train you multiple times on various things we notice you need to improve on, and we'll give positive feedback when you do well. We always want you to be the best version of yourself, so we strongly believe in continuous feedback loops that help you improve and grow in your role. We'll train you personally and provide courses on more comprehensive topics so you can learn as quickly as possible. These aren't fluff courses—they'll improve you significantly as long as you genuinely engage with the knowledge. READ BEFORE APPLYING: Your application requires you to submit short-form videos you've created for a brand along with statistics. We don't value CVs or cover letters. Your application should include: Previous work with social media ads. Include links to posts or upload via Google Drive or WeTransfer and share the link A brief introduction—who you are, where you see yourself in 1 year, and what you're good at Relevant software you have solid experience with If you want an opportunity to grow long-term in a company that will give you more responsibility and better compensation the better results you deliver, we're perfect for you.
