WINTER MAINTENANCE DISPATCHER

We require: - at least secondary education with a school-leaving certificate - at least 1 year of experience in the field (preferred) - good knowledge of Nové Město u Chlumce nad Cidlinou and surrounding area - independence, responsibility, organizational skills, communication skills, reliability - knowledge of PC work (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet) - driving license category B Job description: Directs road maintenance activities outside regular working hours Responsible for road passability during winter period in the designated territory Maintains required documentation of the course of winter maintenance dispatcher service Monitors weather development and forecasts, records data in required documentation, informs other dispatchers based on development and evaluation Directs deployment of crews and machinery depending on weather development for winter maintenance operations, respectively mitigating defects in road passability due to unfavorable weather conditions within the scope of the approved winter maintenance plan Within the scope of contractual conditions, declares readiness with external contracted winter maintenance providers, depending on weather development orders the commencement and termination of work, confirms documents recording their performance for further processing purposes Ensures dispatcher and information service in the form of reporting in an internet application at specified times Consolidates information on road passability in the designated territory and evaluates their significance for winter maintenance operations Start date: Employment under a Work Activity Agreement for an indefinite period from November 1, 2026, 16-hour shifts from 2 PM to 6 AM, shifts predominantly on weekdays Monday through Saturday morning in the period November–March of the new year.
