Director Group Accounting

About the Position In the role of Director Group Accounting, you will take on a central position where you are responsible for developing work with consolidated accounting, financial reporting, and consolidation. You will be an important part of creating clarity, structure, and common working methods in an international environment with employees in several European countries. You will lead the Group Accounting team, develop collaboration across borders, and drive improvements in processes, system support, and automation together with colleagues in Finance and Technology & Product. Your main responsibilities: Lead and develop the Group Accounting team through clear and present leadership. Ensure correct and quality-assured financial reporting for the group's companies in ten countries. Responsible for the group's monthly and annual financial statements, consolidated accounting, and statutory reporting. Further develop the group's accounting principles, internal guidelines, and governance in accordance with, among other things, K3 and IFRS. Coordinate the group's audit work and ensure a strong structure for internal controls and compliance. Drive the development of processes, system support, and automation within Finance and together with Technology & Product. Participate in and lead strategic initiatives within Finance, as well as provide support to the CFO, management team, and board. Who Are We Looking For? To succeed in this role, we would like you to have: An academic degree in economics, accounting, or equivalent. Solid experience in consolidated accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting, preferably from an international group. Experience driving change initiatives, automation, and process improvements. Experience leading managers and larger teams. Very good knowledge of Swedish as well as English, both spoken and written.
