DUTIES
As a digitalization strategist, you have a central role in driving and developing the municipality's digital work. You function as a link between operations, technology, and management, and ensure that our digital solutions are based on real needs, are user-friendly, and stand the test of time.
In the role, you lead digitalization initiatives from idea to implementation and further development. This means that you capture needs in the organization, conduct preliminary studies, prepare decision-making materials, and drive the work forward in close cooperation with colleagues, the IT department, and external parties. You follow up and develop solutions over time, with a focus on benefit, quality, and legal certainty.
The Municipal Director's management group has worked during the spring to develop a digitalization strategy that will be presented to the Municipal Board in August. Part of the strategy is to implement portfolio management for municipality-wide digitalization initiatives. The strategy and portfolio management will be the framework for your work.
You also have an important role in supporting the organization in change and implementation work. By creating understanding, engagement, and participation, you contribute to ensuring that new working methods and solutions are actually used and make a difference in everyday work.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who wants to work needs-oriented and who is driven by creating solutions that make real impact. You have the ability to understand the organization's challenges and convert them into sustainable and user-friendly digital solutions. At the same time, you have a holistic perspective and can navigate complex contexts where different interests need to be balanced.
You are confident in leading processes and creating consensus, even when perspectives differ. Through your way of communicating and collaborating, you build trust and bring others along in change. You thrive in a role where you both get to think strategically and work operationally.
To succeed in the role, you have relevant higher education, for example in IT, digitalization, or project management, or equivalent experience. You have previous experience leading projects or development work and have a good understanding of change processes. You also have knowledge of laws and regulations related to digitalization, for example GDPR.
It is meritorious if you have experience from public sector operations and if you have previously worked with digital implementation or change management.
