We want to develop young people's digital creative skills, strengthen their self-confidence, and create good conditions for them to navigate an increasingly digitalized job market. The internet is changing the conditions for learning around the world. Learning is increasingly happening everywhere and, above all, extends throughout life. Over the past 10+ years, we have seen enormous changes in digital development, and it is happening faster and faster. Trainstation will exist to ensure that the digital knowledge needed in today's modern society reaches young people. Your assignment Lead young people in open and structured group activities, where young people are co-creators of their own leisure time. This is done through a coaching approach. Learning and development are part of everyday life. Work tasks consist of working in open activities where visitors come to develop, as well as in structured activities. You have the unique combination of being highly skilled in the digital field while also having an interest in seeing people develop and grow. The work involves - planning, documenting, implementing, and evaluating activities and operations. - Creating meaningful activities in collaboration with children, young people, and colleagues. - Working with and for participation and influence for young people, and creating a safe and inclusive meeting place for youth. Using conversation and coaching leadership as methods to build relationships to create trust and security among young people. Cooperate, collaborate, and co-arrange activities with both colleagues in youth leisure services and other cooperation partners within both civil society and business (schools, parents, associations, police, etc.). Lead projects and manage events, and participate in work groups. In a politically governed operation, a new political majority may be followed by decisions that require changed direction regarding both goals and working methods. Generally, the future will involve higher demands for co-locating and co-arranging with other actors such as associations and other local resources, which will require close cooperation and networking with both civil society and business. Digital development will impact the operation and place demands on expertise in the field. Your qualifications • Upper secondary education with a focus that the employer deems relevant for the position • Experience working with digital creation (for example through sound, text, film, image, animation, 3D environments, electronics, social media, or programming) • Experience with supportive/developmental work with people, for example within educational activities • Pedagogical work with children and young people and/or adults • Multicultural social work • Music studio and music production, and podcast We would like you to have knowledge of languages other than Swedish and English. To fit this role, you need to have great patience and a drive to see other people grow and gain new insights. You have the ability to explain in a way that makes the recipient understand, while managing to capture their interest. Furthermore, you have the ability to navigate and find knowledge in the digital environment—if you encounter a problem, you solve it with the knowledge available. We are looking for someone with knowledge ranging from game development, music production, to AI and the emerging field of VR and AR. Your competencies - Ability to work on building relationships and with understanding and acceptance to be able to converse and discuss in meetings with children and youth - Knowledge of creating meaningful activities in collaboration with children and youth - Ability to create participation and influence for young people - Ability to see and create cooperation with both civil society and business, such as schools, parents, associations, social services, police, etc. - Understand and have the ability to see social behaviors and patterns on the Internet, based on the fact that social media today functions as a social meeting place for young people - Knowledge of different socioeconomic conditions and how they play an important role in our opportunities to participate in and our choice of leisure activities - Knowledge of what contributes to an inclusive environment and what contributes to exclusion Stable Initiative-taking Environmentally aware Collaboration skills Pedagogical Service-oriented Holistic approach Structured Creative Digital proficiency Additional information Activities are conducted both during daytime and evening hours, and if needed, on weekends.
