Job Description
You will work for two health centers. Health Center Valla and Health Center Ryd. Distribution is approximately 70–80% at Health Center Valla and approximately 20–30% at Health Center Ryd.
You have an office at each health center.
You work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers at the health center and meet a broad variety of patient cases. You work with a public health focus where patient encounters occur individually or in groups and follow NCP (Nutrition Care Process) where assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and evaluation of nutrition-related health issues are handled evidence-based.
We prioritize good collaboration in an interprofessional team. At the health center, you share responsibility for developing local guidelines and internal training for staff. As a practicing dietitian, you are part of a dietitian network within the region's primary care centers with approximately 25 practicing dietitians.
The network is coordinated by a dietitian who offers onboarding and mentoring. The network monitors and disseminates information and news within the region, healthcare, and nutrition areas. For good collaboration, the dietitian organization maintains regular contact through professional meetings held digitally or in person once per month, as well as a network meeting 1–2 times per term with dietitians working in specialist care. Development of overarching procedures, working methods, and guidelines takes place within the dietitian organization.
You have the opportunity for profession-specific continued education. We prioritize patient safety and work environment and have thus developed a region-wide prioritization plan for patient flow. We have designed a support function during temporary absence where you are assisted by colleagues who handle part of the patient flow during your absence. Certain aspects of the position may be conducted remotely according to regional guidelines.
About You
We are looking for you who are a licensed dietitian with experience in your professional role; it is meritorious if you have experience from work in primary care.
As a person, you are curious, engaged, and have a solution-focused work approach. The work requires that you have good collaboration skills and enjoy being part of a team. You should have the ability to work independently. It is also important that you have the will to develop the operation and can take the larger perspective into account and look out for the best of the entire operation. Great weight will be given to personal suitability for the position.
