The Dietitian Role We are now seeking a licensed dietitian for the Rehabilitation Center at Höglandssjukhuset in Eksjö who wants to be part of an inquisitive, forward-thinking dietitian group with great commitment. Together we are a group of 7 dietitians who work closely at the hospital. We are a central resource in the region. We meet our patients both at the hospital and digitally. The position involves working primarily in medicine, in both inpatient and outpatient care. The assignment may vary over time, which means you may also receive assignments within surgical specialties. We offer you a permanent full-time position, with a start date by agreement. Your Future Workplace The Rehabilitation Center is a county clinic that delivers specialized rehabilitation throughout the county in both primary care and specialist care. Your workplace is at the Rehabilitation Center at Höglandssjukhuset where we have approximately 75 employees. We are: physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, social workers, psychologists, speech-language pathologists, rehabilitation assistants, and administrative staff, and we all work closely with our partner clinics at the hospital as well as health centers and municipalities. The Rehabilitation Center is a county-spanning clinic, so colleagues work at all three of the county's hospitals (Länssjukhuset Ryhov in Jönköping and Värnamo Hospital). In your daily work you will also be part of multidisciplinary teams around the patient – both with other rehabilitation staff and with doctors and nurses. Some educational activities are also part of the position. For example, you might be the one giving lectures at patient education classes or training care staff on nutrition. You also work in our outpatient care, where you independently assess, treat, and follow up patients individually, in groups, or digitally depending on what works best. You serve as an important expertise resource in your consultative role with nurses and doctors in primary care. In this way, you contribute to enabling good and accessible care to be provided locally for more people. To give you a good start with us, you will receive customized orientation and on-the-job training based on your experience. For those less experienced, we also offer mentoring where an experienced colleague shares their knowledge and serves as a sounding board.
