What the role involves!
As a Development Manager, you're responsible for driving and developing Nordisk Alkali's development work. The role is broad and varied, with both strategic and operational responsibilities. You plan trials, analyze results, lead development projects, and collaborate closely with colleagues, suppliers, and trial organizations across Europe.
As a local partner to several international development companies, Nordisk Alkali handles the entire chain—from local development and trials to registration, market introduction, technical advice, and product responsibility. This means you'll work closely with the entire product journey and see how development efforts translate into business and customer value.
Your key responsibilities:
Drive and implement Nordisk Alkali's strategic development plans
Plan, order, monitor, and analyze field trials
Lead and coordinate development projects with internal and external partners
Work closely with Regulatory Managers, Strategic Marketing Manager, Sales Manager, and Crop Specialists
Build and develop long-term relationships with suppliers and trial organizations

You work in a structured manner and easily manage multiple parallel projects

You communicate clearly and work well with different functions
You are curious, proactive, and motivated by developing both products and working methods
What you should bring!
Academic education in agronomy, agriculture, plant biology, biotechnology, or similar field
At least a couple of years of professional experience and want to drive development work, biological trials, or product development within plant protection, agriculture, or a related field
Experience in project management and coordination is a merit
Good English and Swedish, spoken and written
Driver's license
