Job Description
Would you like to work broadly with everything from advanced power electronics to hands-on work in the workshop and be part of developing solutions that save energy for industry globally? Are you driven by keeping the bigger picture together and leading others in technical projects? Now there's an opportunity for a leading and broad role as Senior Development Engineer Mechanics at CG Drives & Automation in Helsingborg. We offer a challenging and dynamic work environment where you get to shape the future of green technology solutions.
Your Role – Broad, Practical, and Cohesive. Because we're a smaller mechanical engineering team locally, we offer a broad role for someone who thrives being operational and has a practical mindset. Your main task is new development and customization of complete power electronics modules up to 1,000 V and 5,000 A. You will be the cohesive force for the mechanical design. Since detailed design is done both with our own resources and with technical consultants, it's your responsibility to lead, mentor, and coordinate these consultants, as well as oversee tools, processes, and product knowledge. You will also work closely with our procurement and production departments to build and evaluate prototypes, which means you'll spend considerable time in our workshop and test lab. The role includes a handful of trips per year, primarily to our office in Germany or to test labs in Sweden and Denmark.
Welcome with Your Application!
