Detail Planner for Cutting and Burning

We are looking for a Detail Planner for Cutting and Burning for a consulting assignment in the marine industry. The role involves work on both new construction and modification projects of submarines and surface vessels, with close collaboration between design, technical planning, and production. About the Assignment As a Detail Planner, you are responsible for developing production documentation and planning for cutting and burning operations. You work to translate design documentation into efficient and feasible production solutions adapted to the production facility's equipment and processes. A central part of the work is creating DXF files, nesting layouts, and production documentation for cutting. You plan the preparation with a focus on efficient production execution and then hand over the completed documentation to production. When manufacturing begins, you also serve as support to production and help address questions and any adjustments that arise during the production startup phase. Responsibilities In this role, you will, among other things: Create and manage DXF files for production. Create nesting layouts and production documentation for cutting and burning. Plan and prepare work based on the production facility's equipment and processes. Ensure that planning documentation is adapted for efficient production execution. Hand over completed planning documentation to production. Support production personnel during manufacturing startup. Conduct ongoing coordination with production. Collaborate cross-functionally with technical planners, production engineers, and designers. Contribute to the development and integration of new technical solutions in production. We are looking for someone with a technical background and experience in planning within manufacturing industry, preferably with a focus on cutting, burning, or similar production processes. Relevant experience includes, for example: Detail planning or production planning. Creation and management of DXF files. Nesting and development of cutting documentation. Cutting and burning processes in industrial production. Development and quality assurance of production documentation. Production-oriented work within manufacturing industry. Collaboration between design, production, and production engineering. Experience from shipyards, marine operations, heavy industry, or other complex manufacturing environments is relevant for this assignment.
