We are now looking for a colleague for our gas loading at St1 Refinery in Gothenburg. The role is becoming available as one of our employees is retiring, and we are therefore looking for you to take over an important function in our operations and develop together with us.
About the role
As a depot technician with us, you will be part of a team of six technicians with shared responsibility for operational operations in the refinery's tank parks and surrounding areas.
The role is varied and combines practical work with coordination and responsibility. You work close to operations and contribute to safe, efficient and high-quality handling of our products – an important part of St1's production chain.
Main tasks:
Load railway wagons with LPG
Shunting and switching
Train and support external tank truck drivers
Manage work permits
Conduct rounds within the area of responsibility
Drain tanks and bunds
Troubleshoot and address operational deviations
Your profile
We are looking for you who has practical and technical understanding. This can come from education, but equally from experience – for example in:
industry or process
workshop or mechanics
warehouse, logistics or transport
work as an operations technician, maintenance technician, service technician, industrial mechanic, shunter or tank truck driver
Previous experience from the process or transport industry is a merit, but not a requirement.
Further, we see that you:
Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Have a Category B driving license, as well as a health examination to meet the Transport Agency's requirements for shunting operations (we cover this examination).

Since St1 Refinery operates a business critical to society, a background check is always conducted before an employment offer. At the interview, a valid Swedish ID document must be presented. ST1 Refinery is also partially a security-classified company and a security clearance with register check may therefore be conducted if necessary. The security clearance is conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Upon employment with ST1 Refinery, there is an obligation to be placed on the civil defense roster.
