DBT Therapist at Essensa Treatment Families – Hybrid Team Halmstad/Gothenburg Do you want to make a real difference for children and young people? Essensa Treatment Families is now seeking an engaged and competent DBT therapist to join our growing hybrid team in Halmstad/Gothenburg. With us, you will have the opportunity to work closely with children, young people, foster families, and families in an organization where quality, evidence-based methods, and long-term relationships are in focus. About the Position As a DBT therapist, you will work with treatment and skills training for children, young people, and families within foster care, open services, and treatment families. The work is conducted both digitally and on-site, providing great flexibility and the opportunity to meet clients where they are. This is a hybrid position based in Halmstad or Gothenburg and includes travel when needed. Responsibilities Individual DBT treatment for children and young people Skills training according to DBT Psychoeducational interventions for children, young people, and guardians Supervision and support for treatment families and foster families Collaboration with social services, schools, child and adolescent psychiatry, and other stakeholders Documentation, treatment planning, and follow-up Contribution to method development and teamwork We Are Looking for You If You Are a licensed psychotherapist, psychologist, social worker with step 1 or step 2, or have other relevant university education Have training in DBT and experience working with the method Have experience working with children, young people, and families Are independent, structured, and confident in the therapist role Have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team Possess a B-class driver's license and own a car Meritorious Experience from foster care Education in CBT, TMO, attachment, or NPF Experience working with trauma, self-harm, and emotional instability Experience with digital treatment We Offer An engaged and experienced treatment team Regular method supervision Flexible hybrid work Opportunity to influence and develop the organization Competitive terms A workplace where quality, engagement, and development are central About Essensa Essensa Treatment Families provides qualified treatment services for children, young people, and families.
