Make a difference. Every day. Do you want to work with evidence-based treatment of children and adolescents with self-harm and suicidal behaviors while contributing to the development of Region Skåne's Child and Adolescent Psychiatry FACT services? Then this could be the position for you. Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Region Skåne is in an exciting phase of development. FACT (Flexible Assertive Community Treatment) clinics are being established in our various municipalities, and in Malmö, the FACT Clinic has been made permanent following a two-year pilot study. We are now developing an integrated specialized clinic with the goal of offering level-appropriate care and support services to our patients with complex needs. We work actively, both internally and externally, to expand our treatment offerings and collaborative initiatives, as well as develop new pathways for collaboration between municipalities and the region. Today, the primary services of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry FACT clinic are psychiatric and social assessment, mapping, investigation, treatment, and collaboration. We are now expanding our mission to integrate treatment for more complex conditions, such as collaboration with Lyftet ANB, collaborative psychologists, and DBT teams. Starting in autumn 2026, we will integrate the DBT team into Child and Adolescent Psychiatry FACT, and we are therefore seeking an engaged DBT therapist for our team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with adolescents with emotional instability and other complex cases, and who is eager to further develop DBT services within Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. With us, you will become part of an engaged and multiprofessional team of approximately 25 employees who work together to create modern, cohesive, and trust-based care for adolescents and their families with complex collaborative care needs. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The position is primarily placed within the clinic's and area's DBT team, where the assignment consists of work according to the DBT model. Responsibilities include assessment, individual and group therapy, skills training, and other customary DBT treatment work, in close collaboration with other professionals on the team. As a DBT therapist in our team, you will work split between DBT and FACT based on need, with working hours planned according to your basic profession, your competencies, and the service's needs. This involves person-centered patient work, including both mobile and clinic visits as well as collaborative initiatives in the professional network. Services are directed toward patients needing both psychiatric and social support, and responsibilities include child psychiatric assessment, investigation, mapping, psychoeducation, collaboration, and treatment according to the FACT mandate and within the scope of your professional role. Since the service is in an exciting phase of development regarding the DBT assignment, there are good opportunities to contribute to the development of stepped and level-appropriate care for individuals with personality disorders. You will work closely with both internal and external partners. QUALIFICATIONS Basic requirements include higher education in healthcare and DBT training, as well as previous work experience with DBT. It is considered a merit if you have Step 1 training in CBT and have worked within Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or other specialist psychiatry. In addition, you have good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing. A valid category B driver's license is a requirement for the position. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in the target group and who wants to be part of developing the future of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry care. You thrive in a developing service, work well across professional and organizational boundaries, are flexible, and see opportunities where others see obstacles. To succeed in the role, you are an engaged and initiative-taking person who wants to contribute to both high-quality patient treatment and continued service development. We are committed to finding the right candidate for the position, which is why we place great emphasis on personal suitability. As part of the suitability assessment, prior to offering employment, a check may be conducted from the suspicion and burden register.
