Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies agency "Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies Malnava College" invites you to join their team COMPUTER SYSTEMS AND NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR 📌 Your main responsibility is to ensure the continuous, secure, and efficient operation of the IT infrastructure at LBTU Malnava College, providing technical support to staff and administering computer systems, networks, and information systems. Key Responsibilities administer and maintain the College's computer network, computer systems, computer equipment, and software; install, configure, and maintain computer equipment, servers, network devices, and applications; ensure data security, create and manage data backups and recovery; manage user accounts and access rights (MS Windows, MS 365, email, etc.); diagnose and resolve computer hardware and software malfunctions; provide technical and advisory support to College staff; administer the College's information systems (e.g., Google Workspace, MS 365, aSc Timetables, Hikvision, Integriti, Mikrotik, etc.); participate in IT risk identification and information system security assurance; prepare technical documentation, user manuals, and internal regulations; collaborate with external IT service providers and suppliers. Requirements for Candidates Education: preferably secondary professional or higher education in IT or ongoing IT studies; Experience: preferred experience in computer network and system administration; preferred experience with MS Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, aSc Timetables, Hikvision, Integriti, Mikrotik, MS Intune; experience in computer hardware and software installation and maintenance; knowledge in information security and data protection; preferred experience in website maintenance. Knowledge and Skills: understanding of computer network structure and operating principles; ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues; ability to prepare technical documentation; good knowledge of Latvian and English; good communication skills and ability to work independently.
