Data Protection Officer (DPO)

We are now looking for a new colleague who wants to join our DPO team, which consists of five data protection officers. With us, you have the opportunity to work with different professions where you contribute qualified advice to operations within data protection related to healthcare, research, digitalization, and AI. It is therefore important that you have an interest in digitalization and technology. Your Assignment You are an independent expert who functions as an advisor and knowledge disseminator within data protection. As a data protection officer, you also have a supervisory role and monitor that the organization complies with GDPR and complementary legislation. We are a politically governed organization and you will be a contact person for some of our committees and boards. In your role, you report directly to the highest management level, while organizationally you are placed at the Legal Department. You work closely with, among others, the information security function, archivists, and IT specialists to connect data protection with related areas. For this position, you must have: University degree in a relevant field such as law, systems science, information security, political science, archival science, or other education relevant to the assignment. At least 3 years of experience working with data protection matters Beyond this, it is meritorious for the position if you have: Worked as a data protection officer Experience working in a politically governed organization Worked with supervision, audit, or compliance. Experience with data protection matters or information security in healthcare. Experience working development-oriented in a team. As a person, you need to enjoy working in a group and working to further develop the team's methods. In the team, you have great opportunities to influence the direction and planning of the team's work. You are expected to be able to work independently and have high integrity. You also need to be pedagogical and have a very good ability to build confidence-building relationships. You are also encouraged to further develop your competence and participate in external networks. What can we offer you?
