Why this job is for you Knightec Group is investing in Data & AI and is now looking for a Databricks Architect who wants to help build our offerings. You'll have a key role where you combine technical leadership and customer engagement to establish Gothenburg as a strong hub for Data and AI. Responsibilities You'll become part of Knightec's Software & Cloud business area, where we have around 180 competent and engaged colleagues in Gothenburg. As a Databricks Architect, you'll be an important driving force in both projects and the development of our Data & AI initiatives. Examples of responsibilities: Architecture and implementation of modern data platforms on Databricks Work with cloud platforms such as AWS Technical leadership in customer projects Pre-sales and customer engagement Build and develop our partnership with Databricks Recruit and coach future Data Engineers and Architects Define best practices, governance, and delivery methodologies Qualifications We're looking for someone who combines deep technical expertise with consulting skills and business acumen. You're comfortable taking responsibility for complex solutions and feel at ease engaging with both customers and partners. We believe you have: Expertise in Databricks Architecture Background in Data Engineering Solid understanding of cloud platforms, with AWS being highly valuable Experience with solution architecture Interest in working closely with customers and contributing to pre-sales Experience with technical leadership, such as Tech Lead, Architect, or similar role Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Engineering or equivalent Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal It's a plus if you also have experience with: Unity Catalog Delta Lake dbt Terraform AI/ML on Databricks An exciting journey with Knightec Group Knightec Group is today one of Northern Europe's leading strategic partners in product and digital service development – how exciting is that?
