Data Analyst / BI Developer – Consulting Role in Public Sector

Here you'll combine analysis, statistics, and visualization with business development and be an important part of creating data-driven decision support for management and operations. About the AssignmentAs a consultant, you will work on developing and improving the organization's analysis and reporting capabilities. You are responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data as well as transforming it into clear reports and decision support materials. The role involves close collaboration with the organization where you help different stakeholders understand statistics, identify trends, and make well-founded decisions. You will also participate in development projects where data analysis and business development go hand in hand. Key ResponsibilitiesYou will, among other things: Compile, analyze, and quality assure statistics and operational data. Develop and maintain operational statistics. Build data models and analyze complex relationships. Develop interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI. Work with Power Query, DAX, and data modeling. Integrate and process data from multiple different data sources. Optimize performance in Power BI solutions. Produce reports, analyses, and decision support materials for management and operations. Participate in development and improvement projects. Present analyses and results in a pedagogical and visually clear manner to different stakeholders. Contribute with materials for business planning and operational follow-up. What We're Looking ForWe believe you have: Relevant higher education in, for example, data science, systems science, statistics, business intelligence, economics, or equivalent. Several years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Developer, or similar role. Very strong knowledge of statistics and data analysis. Solid experience with Microsoft Power BI. Advanced skills in Power Query and DAX. Experience with data modeling and analysis of complex data sets. Good experience with SQL Server and working with multiple different data sources. Experience with system integration and data flows between business systems. Knowledge of performance optimization of Power BI reports. Experience from public sector operations where you've worked with statistics and decision support materials. Very strong Swedish language skills, both verbal and written.
