The IT-Information Data and AI (ITI) business area is primarily responsible for coordinated, quality-assured, and efficient management of information, data, and AI within Försäkringskassan, including responsibility for actively contributing in these areas to the public sector broadly, and for building, managing, collaborating on, and developing products and services in information, data, and AI – as an enabler for a data-driven operation. Data Engineer, Data Governance, Transformation and Development We are looking for someone with a technical foundation and practical experience who enjoys solving problems, building something from the ground up, and sees the value in working closely with both business and technology. You will become part of the newly established Data Governance unit within the Information, Data and AI business area at Försäkringskassan's IT department. Here you work in an agile team with the mission to create unified data management, focusing on creating opportunities and capabilities through platform thinking, semantic data, and open source. As a Data Engineer, you build the technical foundation that makes data a strategic asset. You develop and manage data platforms, pipelines, and data flows that enable the organization to use reliable and current data. Your work creates the conditions for analysis, AI, decision support, and future data-driven services. We are looking for someone who has a university degree in, for example, data technology, systems science, informatics, or equivalent competence acquired through other education or relevant work experience has experience working as a Data Engineer, Systems Developer with a focus on data, BI Developer, or similar has very good knowledge of programming in Java, Python, or similar has experience automating data flows and working with version control has very good knowledge of data collection and storage has very good knowledge of data modeling can take initiative independently and take responsibility for achieving good results collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals has a structured and careful work approach has the ability to translate complex business needs into sustainable technical solutions has good communication skills, both verbal and written has good knowledge of Swedish, both verbal and written.
