Nature Protection Agency Announces a competition for Horticulture Specialist position at the Greenhouse Plants and Latvian Breeding Indoor Plants Sector of the Plant Gene Fund Collections and Exhibitions Department of the National Botanic Garden Administration for an indefinite period (full-time) Requirements for candidates: Professional specialized or higher education in biology, agronomy, or a related field; Knowledge and practical experience working with indoor plants; High sense of responsibility, ability to make independent decisions; Good communication and collaboration skills, and ability to effectively plan and organize your work; Ability to work in a team; Good skills for working with office equipment and MS Office software; Desirable English language proficiency (for international collaboration with other botanic gardens and for reading professional literature). Main job duties: Scientifically and technically maintain the Greenhouse plant collections; Provide consultations to visitors according to competence.
