KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organize the occupational safety system in the institutions of Jūrmala City Municipality, including educational institutions;
Develop and update occupational safety and fire safety documentation, including occupational safety action plans and instructions;
Conduct work environment and workplace risk assessments, document assessment results, identify positions with special working conditions, and plan work environment risk factor monitoring;
Investigate workplace incidents and represent the municipality's interests in state institutions on occupational safety matters;
Cooperate, consult, and train municipality employees on workplace safety issues.
REQUIREMENTS:
Higher education and professional qualifications in the field of occupational safety;
At least two years of experience in the field of occupational safety;
Knowledge and ability to navigate regulations in the field of occupational safety and fire safety;
Understanding of work environment risk assessment and monitoring methods;
Skills to prepare documents and instructions, understanding of document management;
High sense of responsibility, accuracy, and ability to make well-founded decisions;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Category B driver's license.
