Valkas Municipality (Registration No. 90009114839) invites applications for a permanent position as a Senior Occupational and Civil Protection Specialist (Profession Code 3119 04 according to the Occupation Classification). Work location: Rīgas Street 25, Valka, Valkas Municipality. Key Responsibilities: Establish, maintain, and continuously improve the occupational safety system in Valkas Municipality structural units and institutions; Develop occupational safety, civil protection, and workplace environment internal supervision action plans; Organize occupational safety briefings, mandatory health inspections, and ensure necessary documentation; Consult responsible persons on occupational safety matters; Organize accident investigations; Coordinate the work of the civil protection commission, record commission meetings, and compile information related to civil protection issues. Candidate Requirements: At least first-level higher education in occupational safety; Knowledge of applicable regulations; State language proficiency at advanced level; Strong analytical, collaboration, and communication skills; Ability to respond quickly and make decisions; High sense of responsibility and attention to detail; Ability to independently plan work time and set priorities; Category B driver's license.
