Däckia Umeå Seeking New Tire Technician

Däckia AB is one of Sweden's leading tire service chains serving both private customers and businesses. The chain encompasses 54 Däckia workshops and 40 partner locations throughout the country. Däckia offers a wide range of tires and rims for everything from large construction equipment to wheelbarrows. We are part of the Citira Group, which in Sweden includes several subsidiaries within tire service and retreading. We provide sustainable solutions for tire management. At our Umeå workshop, we need to strengthen our team with a new team member, and we are now seeking a driven and self-motivated technician. The workshop handles sales and installation of tires and rims for cars, trucks, motorcycles, and construction and agricultural vehicles for both private and business customers. You will be part of a team of five employees. Your work will involve receiving customers and their vehicles to mount/change tires/rims. Washing and storage of tires will also be a significant part of your responsibilities. Since the position also involves heavy vehicles, we would appreciate if you have an interest in heavy vehicles such as trucks, buses, construction equipment, agricultural vehicles, etc. This is a profession suited for someone willing to work hard, who enjoys teamwork, and likes meeting customers. Since workload can vary, some overtime occurs, especially during peak season. We value experience with customer contact and a strong service orientation. We are looking for someone who: is a friendly and positive person with an interest in service enjoyed working independently and taking personal responsibility is flexible, stress-resistant, and enjoys working at a fast pace has experience as a tire technician has a valid B driver's license (required) speaks Swedish fluently, both verbally and in writing Your personality is also highly valued since the work involves being the face of the company.
