Description Stockholm County Health Care Services and Karolinska Institute collaborate on research, development and education. The activities are organized in center formations that are tasked with driving and developing research, development and education within their respective areas in Region Stockholm. We are now seeking a controller for four of these center formations: Center for Psychiatric Research (CPF), Center for Epidemiology and Public Health Medicine (CES), Center for Occupational and Environmental Medicine (CAMM), and Center for Health Economics, Informatics and Health Care Research (CHIS). As a controller, you will be part of the center formations' staff/administration. You will work alongside and support our senior controller in overall financial management, with your office located together with other staff at CPF. The other center formations are all located in the nearby area. Responsibilities As a controller, you will work with financial administration and provide support and advice to the research, development and education units. The responsibilities include ongoing accounting such as accounts receivable and payable, internal trade, contract management and year-end closing work. The role also includes financial management such as budgeting and forecasting. Qualifications We are looking for someone with an economics education at university level and two to four years of experience with similar tasks, preferably from a larger organization. The role requires excellent IT skills and very good Excel knowledge. Experience with the accounting system Raindance or the Business Intelligence tool QlikView is a merit. Experience with budgeting, year-end closing, financial monitoring and financial administration is a merit. Personal qualities: We are looking for someone who is thorough, analytical and organized. You work independently, take responsibility and have good collaboration and communication skills. You are service-oriented and enjoy working with different professional groups. Since the work encompasses multiple operations, you need to be able to prioritize between different tasks, work toward set deadlines and remain calm even during periods of high workload. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Terms Permanent employment. Full-time, 39.5 hours/week. For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Health Care Services: - background checks are conducted prior to employment decisions according to SLSO's overall guidelines for background checks at employment. - employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new hire medical examination, according to applicable directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment. - good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required, in addition to Swedish professional licensure.
