Earlier this year, we strengthened the agency's capacity to work against subsidy fraud by establishing a new department, the Subsidy Fraud Division, where we consolidate the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's expertise, knowledge, and capacity in this area. The division has unified responsibility for cross-agency work to prevent and counteract subsidy fraud, from operational to strategic level. This means the division plays a crucial role in the agency's work against subsidy fraud and contributes to development within the area, both within the agency and externally. We are seeking a controller for the Subsidy Fraud Division staff. Here is an opportunity for you who want to contribute to and develop the management of an operation with an important societal mission. Analyses, management support, and development work The staff should create conditions for effective governance and management of the division. The staff should contribute to developing the division's operations, coordinate and drive division-wide or cross-agency initiatives, and provide advisory support to the division manager and division leadership, both in strategic and day-to-day work. The staff's task is to unite the division into a cohesive operation with common goals and a clear strategy. At this stage, we need to strengthen our ability to work with production management of our operations and our ability to conduct various analyses regarding the effects of our mission. In your role as controller, you are primarily responsible for coordinated work on the division's production management. You are responsible for developing and maintaining the processes and formats for this in alignment with the technology shift currently underway within the agency to SAS Viya and the opportunities that access to data provides for better understanding our operations. You are also an important resource to support the staff's other controller in financial monitoring and other planning. You also actively contribute to continuously developing operations together with other controllers within the division and other parts of the staff. Beyond focusing on your own division, you always maintain the entire agency's perspective and work collaboratively with colleagues in other divisions. You report directly to the head of the division's staff. The position involves handling classified information, which requires high standards of proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have a strong security awareness. It is a job for you who want to take responsibility.
