Drive development together with Region North's management
As Controller for Region North, you'll have a central role in an operation spanning from Mora, Leksand, Gävle to northern Sweden. You work closely with the regional manager, CFO, and other leaders to create understanding of the operation's results and identify improvement opportunities. Possible placement locations in addition to the previously mentioned cities are Solna, Rättvik, Söderhamn, Hudiksvall, Sundsvall, Skellefteå, or Umeå.
This is a role for someone who wants to be where decisions are made. You're responsible for the region's controlling work while serving as proactive support to operations on both operational and strategic matters.
Your main areas of responsibility include:
* Monthly financial statements and financial reporting
* Budget and forecasting work
* Results and variance analyses
* Post-calculation and investment monitoring
* Preparation of decision-making materials for management and managers
* Analysis of operational and financial KPIs
* Identify improvement opportunities and drive development initiatives
* Support regional manager and operations with recommendations and action plans
You report to the Regional Manager North and work closely with the company's CFO. The role involves many points of contact, including with operations manager, department heads, operations leaders, and administrative functions.
Are you the business-minded Controller we're looking for?
We're looking for someone with a strong foundation in controlling and financial management, but who is also motivated by understanding the business behind the numbers. You're curious, communicative, and enjoy translating analysis into concrete recommendations that create business value.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
* Academic degree in economics or equivalent experience
* Several years of experience as a controller, operations controller, business controller, or similar role
* Solid experience with budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, and analysis
* Good system skills and strong interest in digital ways of working
* Very good knowledge of Excel or equivalent analysis tools
* Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing
As a person, you are:

* Communicative and skilled at building trust
* Social and collaboration-focused
* Comfortable both challenging and supporting operations
We believe you have approximately 3-8 years of experience in controlling or financial management and are now seeking a role where you have greater influence on the operation's development.
