We are now seeking a controller who wants to combine qualified financial work and operational management with management responsibility in the university's central organization. In this role, you will have a key position in developing and coordinating the University Administration's planning and financial work, and contribute with analyses and decision-making bases that support management's priorities and long-term governance.
About the job
The University Administration's mission is to overall plan for and follow up the university's activities, implement the university's strategy, and develop, renew, and manage support processes and administrative systems. Through collaboration, efficiency, and accessibility, the university administration offers expert support and service to the university's operations in the areas of finance, facilities, HR, international collaboration, IT, student administration, communication, and law.
You are responsible for the University Administration's overall planning and financial work, and an essential part of this is leading the process of developing the administration's operational plan. You will also assist in university-wide planning and financing issues, such as LiU's operational plan and overall resource allocation, as well as participate in work with budget bases and forecasts for the entire university.
You are part of the Planning and Finance Department's management group together with four other unit managers and the planning and finance director. Together, you drive the strategic work to develop and ensure quality in processes related to planning and finance at Linköping University.
