Do you want to work on issues that affect how resources are used in Sweden's courts? We are looking for a controller for our Analysis and Finance unit. The role is based on controller work with contact and follow-up with courts and can to some extent be shaped based on your profile. The Courts Administration works with questions that are central to how the justice system functions. In this role, you gain insight into how a government agency is governed and how operations in the courts function in practice. It is work where economic matters are placed in a larger context and where you can influence how resources are used in a matter of public importance. What does the work entail? You will work with budgets, forecasts, and follow-ups, but above all with analyzing and putting figures into context. The core of the work is contact with the courts and controller work linked to that. An important part of the role is being able to have conversations about finances in a way that makes the issues meaningful in operations. It is not just about producing materials, but about using analysis to create understanding and set priorities. The work requires you to take on issues that are not clearly defined from the start and drive them forward yourself. You need to be able to handle different perspectives meeting and situations where there is not always an obvious way forward. This requires both judgment and the ability to work with others to move forward. Examples of work tasks include analyzing resource use, discussing outcomes with court management, and contributing to discussions about overall priorities. You also contribute to the development of working methods and system support, for example in BI, budget tools, and time reporting. The scope depends on your experience and profile. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone with an academic degree in economics, or alternatively another qualification that, combined with experience, the employer deems equivalent. You have a few years of documented work experience in qualified financial work. You need to be analytically strong and have experience using different types of data to understand and explain operations. To succeed and thrive in the role, we believe you have experience creating dialogue around financial matters in a simple, clear, and engaging way, and can adapt how you present your reasoning depending on your audience. We are responsible for distributing funds to the country's courts and the Courts Administration's departments as well as monitoring and analyzing operations and finances. We have a number of system support tools that we are also responsible for developing and maintaining.
