The Assistive Device Operations manage the operation of assistive device services for people with mobility disabilities in the southern part of Stockholm County, and have county-wide responsibility for people in need of consumable assistive devices at home, medical technical equipment at home, and communication, cognition, vision, and hearing aids. We are seeking a controller for Business Support at Assistive Device Operations. The unit has 20 employees who support the operations with, among other things, finance, operations tracking, IT, and patient safety. Your workplace will be in Fruängen, but you will regularly also be at our two other offices in Solna. Job Responsibilities Our controller team consists of three people, where you and your closest colleague share the tasks in a broad and varied role. Together, you are responsible for financial statements (monthly, semi-annual, and annual), forecasts, monitoring, and support to management and supervisors, where you create understanding of finances and develop decision-making materials that drive the operations forward. You work together on budgeting, analysis, and reporting. We are a logistics and warehouse operation, and the role also includes financial analysis, forecasting, and monitoring of these flows for efficient resource use and sound finances throughout the chain. Ongoing development and improvement work where you map processes and optimize our workflows is also part of the role, as is providing support to colleagues in customer and accounts payable/receivable. Job responsibilities include: • Joint responsibility for monthly and annual financial statements • Together coordinate and drive budget and forecast processes, financial monitoring and analysis • Mapping, improvements, and development of financial processes • Prepare analyses and decision-making materials • Present in management group meetings • Support the operations' managers in monitoring and budgeting • Contribute expertise in procurements • Support colleagues in accounts payable/receivable Your Background We are looking for someone with a background in controlling and accounting who enjoys combining detailed numerical work with a holistic perspective and can explain finance and analysis in a pedagogical way to non-economists. • Relevant university education in finance/accounting (or equivalent) • At least 5 years of experience as a controller or accounting economist with a focus on analysis, monitoring, and management, and independently closing monthly and annual financial statements • Experience with business planning, target management, budgeting, and creating rolling forecasts, as well as driving improvement initiatives and process mapping • Very good knowledge of Swedish accounting principles, accounts payable/receivable, bookkeeping, and financial statement processes regulations • Experience driving improvement work and process mapping • Very good knowledge of the Office package • Experience strategically supporting management groups and working close to operations • Fluent Swedish in speech and writing Merits • Experience as an economist/controller in warehouse/logistics or operations similar to Assistive Device Operations • Experience with Raindance and the business system Sesam 2 (Visma) • Background in public sector operations and public procurement Who Are You?
