About the Department/Team
As a controller, you will be part of the controller team within the Finance Department under Business Support. The team currently consists of eleven employees who support and coordinate KTH's financial management. The team also handles financial reporting across KTH-wide areas such as SciLifeLab, Data-Driven Life Science, Cybercampus Sverige, and Digital Futures.
In your role as controller, you will report to the head of the controller team, the finance director, and to the director of Cybercampus Sverige.
Responsibilities
In this position, you will play a central role in supporting management within Cybercampus Sverige on financial matters. Cybercampus Sverige has extensive collaborations with other educational institutions, companies, and government agencies.
Your main areas of work will be:
Working with budgets, forecasts, and follow-ups to support operational planning and decision-making
Compiling and analyzing financial reports to provide a clear picture of the financial position, both internally and externally
Developing and establishing routines and processes
Internal and external contact regarding financial matters
Allocation of funds internally and externally
Assisting in preparing materials for financial decisions
Work with Cybercampus is estimated to account for approximately 50 percent of your time. In addition to the above work, the position includes coordination of other KTH-wide projects, participation in broader development work, and other work that falls within the controller team's mandate.
Qualifications
Requirements
Economics education at university level, at least a bachelor's degree, or equivalent competence that the employer deems equivalent
Experience with project accounting
Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as required in daily work
Good knowledge of the Office package with advanced Excel skills
Personal Qualities

The role requires that you have very good communication skills, which means you can explain complex financial concepts in an understandable way.
