You will take on a central role in driving consultant acquisition and managing the consultant lifecycle in a dynamic and international organization. About the Role We are seeking a Consultant Acquisition Specialist for an extended consulting engagement with a large international company in Stockholm. In this role, you will be responsible for driving and coordinating the entire lifecycle of consultant engagements – from incoming needs and sourcing to placement, extension, and offboarding. You will be a central point of contact between the business, hiring managers, consultant vendors, and internal support functions. This role is ideal for someone with experience in consultant acquisition, vendor management, or contingent workforce who thrives in a business-oriented, structured, and dynamic environment. Your Main Responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle of consultant engagements within Staff Augmentation. Review and quality-assure incoming needs and clarify requirements, scope, and expectations. Drive competitive sourcing through an established vendor network. Select and brief vendors and evaluate incoming candidate proposals. Prepare shortlists and provide structured feedback to vendors. Support consultant selection and discussions regarding consultant fees and market-competitive rates. Contribute to cost control through rate guidance and benchmarking. Handle extensions, early terminations, offboarding, and compliance-related matters. Collaborate with the procurement department and other internal functions to ensure efficient and compliant processes. Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, workflows, and vendor partnerships. We Are Looking for You Have approximately 3–6 years of relevant experience in consultant acquisition, vendor management, recruitment with procurement support, or similar. Have experience working with external vendors and multiple internal stakeholders. Are experienced in coordinating and driving processes from need to delivery and follow-up. Have good commercial understanding and interest in the consultant market. Are comfortable challenging unclear requirements and driving dialogue forward without formal authority. Have a structured and thorough work approach. Have the ability to balance cost, quality, speed, and regulatory compliance. Have experience with Vendor Management Systems (VMS), KPI tracking, and reporting. Thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities. As a Person You are communicative, business-oriented, and solution-focused, and you easily build strong relationships with both internal and external parties. At the same time, you are comfortable challenging and asking relevant questions when requirements or conditions need clarification. You work independently and in a structured manner and take responsibility for driving processes forward. You are also motivated by identifying improvement opportunities and creating more efficient workflows. Want to Know More?
