Drop-in sessions are held several times a week, and individualized change work with the person in focus takes place simultaneously.
What We Offer You
You will be part of a team consisting of coordinators and two colleagues. Together, you will work with participants and staff the meeting place. The work is independent and mobile, as we collaborate with three municipalities, two government agencies, and the region (healthcare). We are financed by the Coordination Association Sollentuna-Upplands Väsby-Sigtuna and operated by the Employment Unit in Upplands Väsby Municipality.
About Us
Hoppet's premises, our meeting place where the activity is based, is located in Runby in Upplands Väsby. Our participants come from three municipalities: Upplands Väsby, Sollentuna, and Sigtuna. They are referred to us by the municipalities as well as by the Swedish Public Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, and Region Stockholm (healthcare). Target group members can also visit the meeting place on their own initiative by attending information meetings or drop-in sessions. Hoppet's mission is to support participants toward employment or studies through coordinated support. We use the methods Supported Employment, Supported Education, and Case Management. We are inspired by the BIP study and use reflective practice as our approach. We work with participant inclusion and incorporate participants' wishes when planning activities. The staff at Hoppet work closely together and foster a good workplace culture with plenty of laughter and creativity.
About the Position
As a coach at Hoppet, you will be responsible for your own participants, supporting them toward employment or studies. You will also help staff the meeting place during drop-in sessions and other group activities. The role involves significant collaboration with various stakeholders and outreach work toward the target group through social media.
Are You the Person We're Looking For?
We are seeking someone with:
- Previous work experience with the target group in areas such as job coaching, study and career guidance, or similar.
- A bachelor's degree in behavioral science or similar.
- A Class B driver's license
It is advantageous if you have:
- Knowledge of the Danish BIP study
- Language skills beyond Swedish and English
- Training in our methods SE, SEd, and CM
- Competence in LGBTQIA issues and human rights
- A creative mind or engagement in community organizations
- Interest in and experience using social media in a professional context

Furthermore, you are solution-oriented and collaboration-focused, which for us means you can navigate different social support systems and government regulations. This is essential to help each participant find their path to self-sufficiency through employment, education, or entrepreneurship. We also believe you need to be flexible for the role, which means you can adapt to changing plans based on participants' well-being, motivation, or changes in government regulations. To thrive in this position, you also need to be organized and able to work independently with our various stakeholders.
