Do you want to work in direct social services by supporting people with functional variations in their development? We are now hiring four coaches for our daily activity centers in Spånga, Alvik, Farsta, and Globen. We offer training and several benefits. About the role The work involves supporting people with acquired brain injury, intellectual disabilities, autism, and neuropsychiatric disabilities in their development. At Nytida's daily activity centers, we have one main focus: individualization. That the activities are individually designed is paramount. We base everything on the person's needs, interests, motivation, and especially their strengths. Therefore, activities vary from person to person. A strong desire for most is to establish or reestablish contact with working life. For life to feel meaningful, there is often a need for something more. This could involve development through physical activity, education, crafts, or simply meeting others to socialize and discuss life. Your tasks also include setting goals together with the client, planning and documenting based on the current implementation plan, as well as maintaining contact with case managers and networks. About Alvik väst The unit is located near Alvik strand with proximity to nature and a short walk to the tram and subway. We are in a bright, nice office space on the fourth floor where we also have access to a large terrace that enables outdoor activities and gardening, which is appreciated by both our participants and staff. The activities are aimed at people who have acquired brain injury, such as having had a stroke, been in a car accident, or suffered from an illness. Care-related tasks and driving are part of the work; a B driver's license is required. About Spånga Nord The activities are centrally located in Spånga with proximity to commuter trains and buses. We are in bright and comfortable spaces with room for both group activities and individually tailored support. Spånga Nord is a daily activity center according to LSS (Act on Services and Support for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) for people in target group 1, mainly those with autism and mild to moderate intellectual disabilities. Target group experience in group 1, knowledge of low-arousal approaches, and interest in music are merits. Driving is part of the work and a B driver's license is required. About Farsta The activities are centrally located in Farsta with proximity to subway, buses, services, and green spaces. We are in bright and comfortable spaces with, among other things, a music studio, conversation rooms, and spaces for creative and group activities. Farsta is a daily activity center according to LSS for people in target group 1, mainly those with autism and mild intellectual disabilities. We also support many who experience mental health challenges. Target group experience in group 1, knowledge of low-arousal approaches, and interest in music are merits. A B driver's license is a merit but not required. You will have a unit manager nearby who spends part of their time working in the activities. This could also be a future career opportunity for you. Your experience and knowledge You have education in care and nursing, such as nursing assistant, childcare worker, behavioral scientist, social pedagogue, social worker, health pedagogue/public health expert, or equivalent. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. Beyond that, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and give you the opportunity to grow. You have a positive outlook and strong commitment to people, are conscientious and personally mature. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, and always have our employees' wellbeing as the starting point in everything you do. At Nytida, we are in constant development.
