As one of Sweden's first independent schools, we have challenged the educational world since 1996 with cutting-edge gymnasium programs. Curt Nicolin Gymnasiet (CNG) has been non-profit from the start, and we offer the following programs: Technical Program, Industrial Technical Program, Electrical and Energy Program, and Health and Care Program. Additionally, we offer TE4 – a fourth year of the Technical Program leading to a Gymnasium Engineering degree – as well as customized training programs in collaboration with our owner and partner companies. The school has approximately 550 students, and we strongly emphasize integrating digital technology into our educational activities.
Curt Nicolin Gymnasiet is owned by the region's industrial companies and Finspång Municipality. The school also maintains excellent relationships with significant actors in the health and care sector as well as universities and science parks. We are located in modern facilities in the heart of the industrial hub of Finspång, with access to many companies and organizations in our vicinity.
We are now seeking hourly substitutes to support our school kitchen and café when regular staff are absent.
Our school kitchen is an important part of the school's operations and contributes daily to creating the best conditions for student health, well-being, and learning. By offering nutritious, well-prepared, and quality food, we help students perform well in school, progress in their studies, and feel good throughout the school day. Meals are a natural part of the school's educational and social environment, where community, well-being, and healthy eating habits are in focus.
Work hours are during daytime, and this position suits you if you have the ability to step in on short notice due to illness or other absences.
Job Responsibilities
As an hourly substitute, you will work with varied tasks in the school kitchen and café. Your responsibilities may include:
Preparation and serving of school lunches
Sales in the café
Cash handling
Preparation of sandwiches and simple food items
Dishwashing and cleaning
Restocking supplies
Other tasks that occur in the kitchen and café

Have the ability to work independently
Have the ability to prioritize and take initiative when the situation requires it
Have experience from restaurants, kitchens, cafés, or food handling (desirable but not required)
