ABOUT THE ROLE As a software developer, you'll be part of a small and cohesive team that develops advanced software solutions for technical support systems within aviation-related operations. You'll work primarily with development in C# and .NET and be involved in both further development of existing solutions and development of new functionality. The systems are comprehensive and have been developed over a long time, which means an important part of the role is understanding the bigger picture, familiarizing yourself with existing code, and together with the team finding good technical solutions. Work takes place in a complex technical environment where quality, security, and reliability are central. You collaborate closely with other developers and technical specialists while having the opportunity to take own responsibility, contribute with ideas, and gradually build deeper understanding of the systems. Examples of work tasks: - Develop and further develop applications in C#/.NET - Develop new functionality for advanced technical support systems - Work with object-oriented programming and problem-solving in complex software environments - Work with Windows-based applications - Analyze and further develop existing code and functionality - Collaborate with developers and other technical competencies in the team - Contribute with ideas and improvements to both software and working methods The team works together on-site in Arboga and is characterized by close collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a shared interest in technology. WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO - Have a college or university degree in data, IT, system development, or equivalent - Have work experience in software development - Have good knowledge of C#/.NET or another object-oriented programming language - Have a strong interest in programming, technology, and problem-solving - Master Swedish and English well in speech and writing To thrive in the role, we believe you are curious, initiative-taking, and enjoy understanding how complex systems work. MERITS It is meriting if you: - Have experience developing Windows applications - Have experience with agile working methods and software development processes - Have worked with multiple programming languages, technologies, or frameworks - Have experience with open source or own development projects - Have an interest in aviation, advanced technology, and/or defense-related operations ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday and work on assignment for the customer. The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to applicable security protection requirements at any time.
