Are you a self-driven CNC technician who thrives in a modern machine shop environment? We are now seeking an experienced CNC machinist who wants to take responsibility for the entire process – from programming to finished part. About the Position As a CNC technician, you will work independently setting up, programming, and operating CNC milling machines according to drawings. You will work in a modern machine shop where the current machine is a Correa Norma L 55 with HEIDENHAIN TNC-640 control system. Your main responsibilities include: Independently setting up and rigging the machine Programming directly in the control system based on drawings Optimizing programs and operations Measuring and quality controlling parts Troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance You will be an important part of production where quality, precision, and efficiency are in focus. About You Formal Qualifications CNC training and/or equivalent work experience Experience with CNC milling Ability to independently set up and program based on drawings Good knowledge of blueprint reading and measurement techniques Experience with HEIDENHAIN control systems, preferably TNC-640 Strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Meritorious Experience with larger milling machines or multi-operation machines Experience with CAM programming Forklift and/or overhead crane certification Experience with single-unit or small batch production About Brynäs Mekano Brynäs Mekano AB is an established machine shop company in Gävle with extensive experience in mechanical processing and industrial services.
