CNC Operator / Set-up Technician

Your Tasks We are seeking CNC operators and set-up technicians for our customers in the highlands. Are you an experienced CNC operator or set-up technician who thrives in a modern production environment where precision, quality, and technical expertise are central? Then this could be your next step! We are now looking for dedicated and skilled CNC operators and set-up technicians for our client. In this role, you will work with modern CNC machines and be responsible for ensuring efficient production, from preparation and setup to finished components. Your main responsibilities: -Set up and rig CNC machines for production. -Operate and monitor machines during processing. -Work according to drawings, instructions, and production documentation. -Manage and adjust machine settings to ensure efficient production. -Work with control systems such as Heidenhain, Okuma, Fanuc & Mazak. -Perform ongoing measurements and quality checks to ensure that components meet the correct dimensions and tolerances. -Perform tool changes and optimize cutting data as needed. -Identify and handle minor operational issues and perform basic maintenance. -Document production and report according to applicable procedures. We are looking for someone who is meticulous, technically interested, and has experience setting up, rigging, and operating CNC machines. You work independently, take responsibility for your work, and have a natural focus on quality. If you also have experience with CNC programming, that is a plus. Your Profile We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology who thrives in a production environment where precision, responsibility, and quality are an integral part of the work. You are someone who takes initiative, works in a structured manner, and ensures that production maintains a high and consistent level. To succeed in this role, we believe that you: -Have experience setting up, rigging, and operating CNC machines. -Have good understanding of blueprint reading and technical instructions. -Are meticulous and quality-conscious with an eye for detail. -Are accustomed to working independently and taking responsibility for the machine and production. -Have a solution-oriented approach and can handle minor technical challenges. -Have experience with control systems, such as Heidenhain and/or Okuma. -Are an engaged team player who contributes to good cooperation within the team. -Have a desire to develop and continue building your expertise in CNC and production. Experience with CNC programming is a plus, but what matters most is that you have the right experience, commitment, and desire to develop in this role.
