CNC Operator Needed for Client in Lidköping

About the Position We are now seeking experienced CNC operators for a modern, highly automated manufacturing environment in Lidköping. Here you will work with cutting operations in a facility where quality, precision, and efficient production are central. Our client is looking for someone who wants to work with them long-term. This assignment is initially a contract hire through Ikett with excellent opportunities for conversion to a permanent position with the client after 6 months. About the Role: As a CNC operator, you will work with turning operations in a production that largely consists of recurring parts in smaller series. The work involves setting up, rigging, and running CNC machines as well as changing and adjusting programs and tools as needed. You are responsible for measurement, quality control, and ensuring stable operation of your machines. Production is organized in cells where operators often run multiple machines simultaneously. You will work in an environment where changeovers can happen frequently, and where you need to be comfortable quickly familiarizing yourself with new runs and parts. Your Profile: We are looking for someone with experience in CNC machining, primarily turning, and who is accustomed to working independently in industrial production. You have a good understanding of blueprint reading, measurement, and machine setup. Programming experience is a plus. Requirements: • Experience with CNC turning • Good experience with blueprint reading and measurement • Operator's license (crane) • Fluent in Swedish, spoken and written Desirable: • Experience with machine cells • Programming experience in CNC • Forklift license (counterbalance/platform truck) Working Hours: 3-shift or continuous night shift Start Date: By agreement This assignment is initially a contract hire through Ikett with excellent opportunities for conversion to a permanent position with the client after 6 months.
