Your Responsibilities
In your role as a CNC Operator, you report to the Workshop Group Manager. You will independently set up, program, rig, and operate CNC-controlled milling machines and/or lathes of the brand Mori Seiki (Fanuc). You will inspect the machined components to ensure they meet the prescribed quality standards and tolerances. Stainless steel and bronze are the most common metals we machine. You will be part of a team responsible for this machine group, but at the same time be able to work independently in your role to produce quality parts according to our drawings.
Your responsibilities will include
• Following work procedures and routines within your work area and informing the group manager of any deviations
• Working to maintain established production schedules and delivery times
• Meeting the production and quality targets of your work area
• Contributing to flexibility by participating in training and working in other areas when required
• Maintaining and servicing equipment to prevent unplanned downtime
• Ensuring order and cleanliness in your own workplace
Your Background/Your Qualities
To succeed in this role, we see that you
• Have several years of experience working as a CNC Operator where programming has been included
• Have experience programming in CAM Works or similar software
• Have documented experience from other common workshop tasks such as drilling, threading, cutting, pressing, and manual turning
• Have good knowledge in blueprint reading and measurement techniques
• Speak and write Swedish fluently and can understand written information in English
• Can independently plan your work and be solution-oriented
• Are responsible, proactive, and collaborative as a person
• Like to make improvement suggestions for the operations and be driving in implementing them
• Have a B-class driver's license, forklift certification, and overhead crane certification.
It is meritorious if you
• Have documented experience working with Lean and/or Six Sigma
• Have worked in the ERP system Monitor
