CNC Operator

At Töreboda Mekaniska, you are offered a varied role as a CNC operator where you work in production and progressively take on greater responsibility. Here you combine practical machine work with technical development and the opportunity to follow a component through the entire process from drawing to finished product. About the Position In your role as a CNC operator at Töreboda Mekaniska, you will work with the entire CNC process – from programming and setup to production, quality control, and finished components. You follow the work from start to finish and play an important role in ensuring high quality throughout the manufacturing process. You will primarily work with CNC turning on Traub machines. Initially, you will be responsible for the daily operation of the machines, where you monitor production, measure and inspect components, and perform adjustments as needed. As you grow into the role, you will progressively develop and learn more advanced tasks such as programming, setup, changeover, and machine commissioning with the goal of independently managing the entire manufacturing process, from drawing to finished product. Beyond machine work, other production-related tasks may also occur, such as component cleaning, inventory counts, packaging of finished articles, and other relevant production activities. If you have a forklift license, you may also work with loading incoming and outgoing goods. Working hours are daytime, Monday through Friday. You will be offered an employment contract with Töreboda Mekaniska with a start date immediate or by agreement. Your Profile We are looking for someone with a workshop education or equivalent work experience in working with the entire CNC process including turning, drawing interpretation, and handling of measuring instruments. To succeed in this role, we see that you are an engaged person who enjoys working as a CNC operator. You appreciate responsibility with freedom, are organized, flexible, and positive and goal-oriented. It is important that you can collaborate with your colleagues but also enjoy performing certain tasks independently. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and have good computer skills. It is a merit if you have worked in the Monitor business system, hold a driver's license, and have a forklift license. About Töreboda Mekaniska Töreboda Mekaniska is part of a smaller group together with Strängnäs Mekaniska, where we have close collaboration with daily contact. The company was founded in 2009; in early 2014, the company moved to larger premises, where we are located today. In fall 2019, the company was sold to the current owner, who intends to grow successively. We are a dedicated contract manufacturer (job shop) specializing in turning – we have no products of our own but manufacture according to customer needs. Our machine park is designed for series production, ranging from 100 units up to 10,000–20,000 articles per order.
