On behalf of our client, we are now seeking a Cloud Engineer / OpenStack Engineer for Gothenburg. We're looking for someone with a strong interest in infrastructure and cloud technology who wants to be part of developing secure, scalable, and automated private cloud solutions.
You'll be part of a skilled DevSecOps team where you work closely with developers, architects, and infrastructure specialists. Here you'll have the opportunity to influence technical solutions, work with exciting technology, and develop alongside other knowledgeable colleagues.
This is a direct hire, meaning the recruitment process is handled by Futuria People but you will be employed directly by the client.
What you will do
In this role you will work close to the platform and have the opportunity to both develop and further enhance the infrastructure.
You will, among other things:
Develop and further develop OpenStack-based private cloud environments
Work with operations, management, and optimization of the platform
Automate infrastructure and processes with Infrastructure as Code
Contribute to architecture, design, and technical decisions
Work with Linux-based environments
Ensure stability, security, and high availability
Participate in the entire lifecycle – from development and implementation to operations
Collaborate with developers, architects, and other infrastructure specialists
What we're looking for
We believe you have a background in DevOps, Cloud, Platform Engineering, or infrastructure and that you enjoy working close to the technology.
For success in this role, we'd like you to have:
Several years of experience within DevOps, cloud, platform, or infrastructure
Experience with OpenStack, preferably from a production environment
Experience with Linux
