We are looking for a business-driven and engaging Chief Operating Officer (COO) who wants to take overall responsibility for our operational business. In the role, you are responsible for leading, developing, and future-proofing Operations with a focus on efficiency, profitability, customer loyalty, and sustainable growth. As COO, you are a key person in our management team and have strategic responsibility for translating the company's vision, goals, and focus areas into concrete results in the business. You create conditions for teams and individuals to succeed, develop, and perform. About the Role As COO, you are responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Operations business area, which includes all our national station operations together with the teams responsible for the Hertz car fleet. You ensure that the business has the right competencies, ways of working, resources, and processes to achieve set goals and meet future demands. Through your leadership, you create engagement, accountability, and results. You continuously drive improvement efforts and work closely with other parts of the organization to ensure that the business develops in line with our business strategy. You will be based at our Stockholm office. In the role you will Lead, develop, and drive Operations both strategically and operatively Ensure and develop efficient ways of working and processes that strengthen customer experience and loyalty Take responsibility for budget and financial monitoring within Operations Identify investment needs and develop decision-making materials for business development Coach, develop, and support leaders and employees in their development Drive change and development initiatives linked to business goals Actively contribute to the company's sustainability and environmental work Promote collaboration across departmental boundaries to achieve common business goals Promote high ethics, business integrity, and strong leadership in the organization Are You Our Next Star? Good business understanding and documented experience with budget, results, and operational responsibility. Experience driving change and development. Experience from a customer-focused business.
