đŒ Responsibilities
In the role of Chemical Manager, you work with assessing chemical risks and developing action plans to manage them safely. You also serve as a contact person with customers, authorities, and regulatory bodies, helping to ensure that the company complies with chemical regulations. An important part of the job is developing business opportunities by building and strengthening customer relationships. You provide technical advice and support on various projects, helping companies comply with regulations and manage chemicals safely and sustainably.
You also conduct training in chemical management and legislation, sharing your knowledge and helping companies work more safely and efficiently with chemicals. The role is a mix of technical work, consulting, and business development, where you support customers and contribute to safer and more sustainable chemical management. The position also includes travel within Sweden.
Expertise and consulting within REACH, CLP, occupational health and safety legislation, RoHS, SCIP, and more.
Contact person with customers, authorities, and regulatory bodies to handle issues related to chemical regulations.
Business development by identifying and developing new business opportunities and building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
đ Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities
Completed education in chemistry, environmental science, sustainability, EHS, or similar.
Work experience from a technical business-oriented role, such as project manager.
B-category driver's license and driving experience.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
The position requires that you undergo and pass a background check. For positions with security clearance requirements, citizenship requirements may apply in certain cases.
As a person, you take great ownership of your tasks and their execution, ensuring work is completed on time and to high quality. You are good at setting and meeting deadlines and at structuring and prioritizing the right things in your work. You enjoy interacting with customers, have good interpersonal skills, and are skilled at building long-term relationships. You also have a positive attitude and enjoy having many points of contact. In collaboration with customers, you contribute ideas and new perspectives and find it stimulating to constantly contribute to improvements in processes and routines, both with customers and internally.
